Meet Sassy Woof. 💜

The photos do not do this sweet girl justice. In person, she is an absolute cutie pie.

Sassy Woof is around 4 years old, weighs 45 lbs, is already spayed, and is up to date on her vaccines and prevention. Sadly, she is only here due to her owner being evicted. She is incredibly dog social and is even one of our helper dogs during playgroups because she gets along so well with other dogs. She loves playing, loves the water, and enjoys a calm, peaceful environment. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, so slow introductions help her feel comfortable. She also spent a short time in a foster home, where she was reported to be potty trained.

Urgent: She Is Declining

Sadly, after just over 30 days in the shelter, Sassy Woof is rapidly declining. The stress of shelter life has become overwhelming, and we are seeing heartbreaking signs like excessive pacing and drooling, wall licking and kennel painting. This is not who she is— it is what the shelter environment is doing to her.
