These dogs were never meant to live in small kennels surrounded by constant noise and stress. Despite our best efforts, they are no longer able to thrive here. It is not fair to keep them in an environment that is hurting their quality of life and we desperately need our community's help to find each of them a foster or adoptive home.

These decisions are never easy. We love every one of these dogs, and everything we do is centered around what is best for them. Please remember that kindness goes a long way — for the animals and for the people working hard to save them.

🐾 Toffee

Around 4 years old, 50 lbs., neutered. Toffee is timid with new people but becomes an incredibly loving, low-energy couch potato once he trusts you. He is emotionally in tune with his person and loves deeply. Toffee can be selective with some male dogs, so a meet and greet is recommended. His previous foster reported no cats and said he should be fed separately from other dogs.

🐾 Simba

Almost 3 years old, 45 lbs., neutered. Simba is goofy, playful and initially timid, but he warms up quickly. He is dog social, although fluffy dogs and shepherds do not seem to be his preferred friends. He loves a good game of tag — and his adorable sploot is impossible to resist!

🐾 Isabella

Almost 2 years old, 35 lbs., spayed. Isabella came to us through a heartbreaking neglect case. She is dog social and timid with new people but opens up quickly. She is a sweet cuddle bug who we believe would settle into a lower-energy lifestyle outside the shelter.

🐾 Icy

Around 6 years old, 50 lbs., spayed. Icy can be selective with other dogs, so a meet and greet is recommended. She is incredibly loving with people, has moderate energy and loves rolling around in the grass. Her body shows that she had many litters before coming to us — now it is finally her turn to be someone's baby.

🐾 Hubbub

Almost 4 years old, 45 lbs., neutered. Hubbub came to us after being hit by a car but has healed wonderfully. He has moderate energy, loves toys and is an absolute love bug with people. He can be selective with larger male dogs. His adorable prance and huge smile are guaranteed to make you laugh!

🐾 Lucky Charm & Fruity Pebbles

Both are around 1 year old, 25 lbs., spayed. These girls are dog social and would benefit greatly from having a confident dog friend. They are terrified of the world and appear to have had very little socialization — but you can see how badly they want to trust. They smile when you approach and roll over for attention, even while fighting their fear. They need patient, loving homes where they can finally feel safe.
